The Philadelphia Art Alliance is pleased to announce the rescheduled date for the performance of the Jasper String Quartet on April 4. Winner of the prestigious CMA Cleveland Quartet Award, Philadelphia's Jasper String Quartet is the Professional Quartet in Residence at Temple University's Center for Gifted Young Musicians.

The Jaspers perform pieces emotionally significant to its members ranging from Haydn and Beethoven through Berg, Ligeti, and living composers. They have commissioned string quartets from some of today’s best composers, including Aaron Jay Kernis, Andrew Norman, Nicholas Omiccioli, Conrad Tao and Annie Gosfield. At the PAA, they will present a program including works by Mozart, Mazzoli, and Dvorak.

Interviews may be scheduled through Jim McClelland at 215-925-2038 / Photos available on request. The series is made possible by a generous gift from the Jim McClelland Fund for the Performing Arts of the Philadelphia Foundation.

The PAA would also like to thank WRTI, our media partner.

Tickets for this performance will be available at the door.
Advance tickets are available online.
